Your hosting or domain quote and the applicable provider terms define the service you purchase. Confirm the following before ordering.
Domain ownership and access
Agree the domain registrant details, account access, registration period and responsibility for keeping contact information current. Domain availability is not guaranteed until registration is completed.
Renewals and expiry
Confirm initial and renewal pricing, payment dates, notice arrangements and who is responsible for renewal. Expired domains or hosting may interrupt your website and email; redemption fees or recovery limitations may apply under the provider’s terms.
Hosting resources and support
Your plan should state the included storage, traffic or other resource limits, support channel, service boundaries and any separately priced work. No uptime guarantee is offered unless expressly included in your agreement.
Backups and restoration
Confirm backup frequency, retention, what is included and any restoration fee. Keep an independent copy of important content and establish responsibility for testing recovery.
Transfers and cancellation
Agree how domain transfers, website migrations, cancellation and access handover are handled. Third-party registration and renewal charges may have their own refund rules; mandatory rights remain unaffected.
Acceptable use
Hosted content must comply with applicable law and the provider’s acceptable-use terms. Malware, abusive activity and unauthorised use of other people’s material can result in provider action.
